KentuckyCheerleading.org is an alumni operated website created to promote the Kentucky Cheerleading program and become a web community for Kentucky Cheerleading Alumni. The major content sections are outlined below.

History
The History section discusses the history of Kentucky Cheerleading one year at a time, including listing rosters for each year. T. Lynn Williamson has agreed to start us off by writing about his early years with the program, starting with the 1977-78 season. We are planning on publishing a new season every one or 2 months. When years are published as a roster only, the article title will say Squad instead of Season, for example, "1977-78 Squad". Once additional information about the year is added it will be republished as the "1977-78 Season".

Journal
The Journal section is a basically ablog. There are currently 2 parts, Jomo's Journal and the Senior Journal. Jomo's Journal will give Head Coach Jomo Thompson a place to let us know what is going on with the squad. As of now Jomo has not committed to writing anything, but he did say he wanted to keep the option open. The Seniors' Journal will be where selected seniors get a chance to talk about their final year in the program. Kelly and Jenny have agreed to keep the first Senior Journal.

News
The News section will inform readers of what is going on with Kentucky Cheerleading. There are currently 4 sections; Alumni, Squad, Tryouts, and Website. Alumni News will focus on news for and/or about alumni, such as wedding announcements and reunion information. Squad News will focus on events concerning the current squad, such as upcoming performances or special events. Tryout News will add to the general information found in the Tryout section including clinic and tryout dates. Website News will announce any major changes to the website, directing readers to the Journal for more details.

Squads
The Squads section lists the current Blue and White squad rosters and talk about the responsibilities of each squad.

Tryouts
The Tryouts section contains general information about tryouts (requirements, forms, a description of the process, etc.). Additional Tryout information, specific to the upcoming Spring, can be found in the Tryout section of News.

Videos
The Videos section contains past videos including various performances and videos used to qualify for Nationals. We are working on getting permission from ESPN and UCA to publish past Nationals videos. In the meantime we will have skills tapes used to qualify for Nationals, crowd tapes that count as part of the Nationals score, performance from Midnight Madness, Nationals performance in preparation for Nationals, and other videos submitted to us. Just as a note, Nationals performances for the current year will not be posted until after the team travels to Nationals.

Photo Gallery
In addition to the sections listed above, the Kentucky Cheerleading Photo Gallery is located at http://photos.kentuckycheerleading.org/. We will publish pictures by year, for the more recent years, or by decade for some of the earlier years. Pictures have been and will be submitted by alumni, cheerleaders, parents, family, and friends. Photographer Chuck Perry has also agreed to let us publish many of his copyrighted images as long as we watermark them. Chuck has been taking pictures of the Kentucky Cheerleaders for years and will be able to greatly expand the collection of photographs displayed.
